Mangalyaan:
Mangalyaan was the world's successful spacecraft to achieve success in its first attempt to Mars. It was developed and designed by India's space agency "Indian Space Research Organisation". It successfully launched from Sriharikotta second launch pad of ISRO on 5th November 2013. It was successfully inserted into Martian orbit on 9th September 2014. It confirmed the presence of Methane,which is very important for the life formation. It is currently in active and exploring Mars. To honour the spacecraft with its greatest achievement, ISRO released a image catalogue named Mars Atlas on 30th August 2015. Atlas inauguration at ISRO shown below in the image:
