Super-massive Black Hole:
Astronomers from National Aeronautics Space Administration have discovered a super-massive black hole. The black hole have mass equals to 800 million times the mass of our sun. It is very large in its initial young stage. Scientists predict that the black hole have grown into larger size in 690 million years only after the big-bang event, this ratio is very much high as predicted and it stands for a great challenge against the theories of black hole formation.
Data Gathering:
Combined data from Carnegie observatory, Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, Magellan telescope and some ground based telescopes helped the astronomers to identifying this black hole. The black hole grew very large in early period and it's a mystery that "How fast the black hole grew this much large?" is a question.
The newly discovered black hole is devouring material at the center of galaxy and this phenomenon called quasar. (The quasar is very very interesting because it come from time when universe was just beginning to emerge from dark ages ).
Quasar:
Quasar is an very active nucleus of a galaxy and the intensity is high. It consists of super-massive black hole covered by orbiting gases like surrounding disk. It emits energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation which can be observed by radio, infrared, visible, ultraviolet and X-ray telescopes. Scientists predict that the sky contains 20 and 100 quasars.
