Mars Orbiter Mission's Mars Atlas

Mangalyaan:

Mangalyaan was the world's successful spacecraft to achieve success in its first attempt to Mars. It was developed and designed by India's space agency "Indian Space Research Organisation". It successfully launched from Sriharikotta second launch pad of ISRO on 5th November 2013. It was successfully inserted into Martian orbit on 9th September 2014. It confirmed the presence of Methane, which is very important for the life formation. It is currently in active and exploring Mars. To honour the spacecraft with its greatest achievement, ISRO released a image catalogue named Mars Atlas on 30th August 2015. Atlas inauguration at ISRO shown below in the image:

Spitzer Infrared Telescope - Ebook

Making the Invisible Visible:

A History of the Spitzer Infrared Telescope facility

Author : Renee M. Rottner

In the early 1970s, there were a few groups interested in the Infrared Space Telescope Astronomy, the field of Infrared Astronomy was only few years old, no one had ever built a infrared based space observatory. Considering the technical, political, scientific and economic uncertainties, it was not like the project SIRTF or should be dared by NASA. Spitzer Space Telescope was amazing and managing innovation over the time and in the face of uncertainty.
