Abstract Mars 1M No.1 flyby was the world's first spacecraft ever attempted to visit and explore Mars in October 1960 initiated by Russian Federal Space Agency. It was assorted under "Marsnik" spacecraft category infused from Mars and Sputnik. It was launched as a division of Soviet's Mars Program. It was deliberated to conduct flyby and flight testing system for future Mars exploration missions. Preliminary to its commencement of operation, the spacecraft failed to orbit due to launch vehicle failure on the same day of its launch.Download Mars 1M No.1.PDF (232 KB) | Citation
